These Terms & Conditions outline the rules, responsibilities, and policies that apply when purchasing from or using the Calming Scents Candles website. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to the following terms.

General Use of Website

This website and all content, including images, text, products, and branding, are the property of Calming Scents Candles LLC.
You may not copy, duplicate, reproduce, or redistribute any part of this site without written permission.

Product Information

All products are handcrafted in small batches. As a result:

  • Colors, designs, or fragrance strength may vary slightly

  • Product photos represent our items, but actual products may have natural variations

  • We reserve the right to update product descriptions, sizes, or pricing at any time

Order Processing

Processing times are posted on our website and may change based on order volume.

Standard processing: 3–5 business days
Custom, bulk, or event orders: 7–14 business days

Processing time does not include shipping time.

Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in USD and may change at any time.
We accept major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other payment options available at checkout.

Fraudulent transactions may result in order cancellation.

Shipping & Delivery

Once a package is shipped and tracking is provided, Calming Scents Candles is not responsible for:

  • Carrier delays

  • Incorrect address entry

  • Lost, stolen, or misdelivered packages marked as “Delivered”

Customers must contact USPS or UPS directly for these issues.

Returns, Replacements & Store Credit

Calming Scents Candles does not offer refunds.
All sales are final.

We allow replacements or store credit only if the customer reports an issue within 72 hours of delivery and provides proof.

  • Issues must be reported within 72 hours

  • Proof (photos/videos) is required

  • Item may need to be returned for investigation

  • Eligible claims receive replacement or store credit

  • No refunds under any circumstances

Custom Orders

Custom orders require a non-refundable deposit.
Due to personalization, custom items cannot be canceled, exchanged, or refunded.

We may showcase custom creations on our website or social media unless you request otherwise.

Candle Safety & Disclaimer

By purchasing our candles, you agree to follow proper candle care and safety instructions:

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended

  • Burn no longer than 4 hours at a time

  • Keep away from children, pets, and flammable objects

  • Trim wick before each burn

  • Stop use when ¼ inch of wax remains

Calming Scents Candles is not responsible for damage caused by misuse or failure to follow safety guidelines.

Limitation of Liability

Calming Scents Candles LLC is not liable for:

  • Misuse of products

  • Allergic reactions or scent sensitivities

  • Damage caused by open flames

  • Third-party carrier errors

  • User error or neglect of product care instructions

Your purchase indicates acceptance of these risks.

Privacy & Data Protection

We respect your privacy.
Customer information is never sold or shared and is used only for order processing, communication, and marketing (if opted in).

Payment information is encrypted and securely processed.

Changes to Terms
